I’ve been teaching group fitness for seventeen years and I currently maintain AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Kickboxing, TurboKick, INSANITY, Tabata Bootcamp, Barre Above and Biggest Loser Pro certifications. I teach because I love to motivate, educate, and encourage.
My philosophy on fitness:
1) Classes should be safe. This means your instructor should be CPR and FIRST AID certified (of course), but it also means you should feel comfortable in the environment you’re exercising in. I realize that the gym can be an intimidating place for many of us, so I’ve taken the classes out of the gym and have brought them to you in a relaxed environment void of mirrors and annoyingly “pretty people”. Come as you are.
2) You should be challenged. After all, you’re dropping some cash; your workouts should deliver results. I’ve tailored my classes for various ages and abilities, because one size doesn’t fit all. Check out the class descriptions and if you aren’t sure which class is a good fit for you, fire me off an email and we’ll figure it out.
3) Enjoy the journey. I’m constantly researching new class formats that you can’t get just anywhere. Don’t dread your workouts.
